New Federal DOL/ETA Tool for Job Seekers: "mySkills myFuture"

September 16, 2010

A new, free online tool to help job seekers increase their career mobility and economic prospects has been developed by the Federal Department of Labor/Employment Training Administration.

mySkills myFuture is a self-paced tool that helps people who were previously employed to:

  • use their previous experience to identify occupations for which they qualify
  • identify the skills needed to qualify for a specific job
  • identify appropriate education or training institutions

The site also provides links to relevant job opportunities in national and state job banks.  For additional information visit mySkills myFuture online at: http://www.myskillsmyfuture.org.
